It was my daughter's 16th birthday party. The place is huge, we were 16 and could fit comfortably. Both my family and my daughter's friends enjoyed the stay. Nosipho the caretaker is amazing, she wears a big smile throughout the weekend. Thanks to the owners for allowing to check later than usual. The place is so good, clean, it’s very hard to leave. We are definitely coming back soon. The way our visiting neighbours were so good, such that the young girls from next door invited themselves to the party and they were welcomed by all girls. If you want a big family outing Howela Beach House is the place to be.

We booked a 3 night stay in March for 16 of us made up of adults and kids. We arrived with welcoming staff, complimentary snacks, wine and the best view on the North Coast. You couldn't get closer to the sea if one tried! Howela House is beautifully furnished with that rustic beach look. It's the only house that I know that has 8 king size bedrooms that suits 8 couples. Rooms can also be broken down into 2 x singles for the kiddies which is a bonus! Kids lived in the pool which is amazeballs! Another bonus is the bathing beach is literally a 100m away with its own lifeguards!! I'm trying to keep it short but you wont regret staying at Howela House! Staff were brilliant, home was clean 24/7. We have booked to go back in May! That says it all!

Howela was absolutely fabulous for us as there were 14 of us. Not once did we feel squashed and there were lots of areas to relax in. We felt completely looked after and once the owner even dropped off some delicious litchis for us! A beautiful setting right on the main beach. Would definitely return. Thanks Pam, Howard and Nosipho!

What a fantastic house for a get together with family and friends. Well equipped and well taken care of. Right on the beach. Efficient booking. Cleaning service provided as well.
