We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful self-catering chalet. The ground floor unit was spacious, spotless, and fully equipped with everything we needed to feel right at home. The attention to detail and comfort made our holiday so relaxing and enjoyable.
The surroundings are absolutely stunning — from the sparkling pool to the peaceful pond filled with fish. Our 2-year-old especially loved feeding the fish every day, which became such a special part of our trip. The nature walks were beautiful and calming, and the entire atmosphere was peaceful and refreshing.
If you’re looking for a quiet getaway surrounded by nature, this is the perfect holiday destination. We truly enjoyed every moment and would definitely love to return again!

We spent the weekend here and it was the perfect reset. The house is super relaxed and welcoming. One of our favorite spots was the entertainment room, the scenery from there is stunning and we spent hours just chilling. Comfort levels were excellent across the board, from the bedrooms to the lounge areas. Clean, well-equipped, and peaceful. A much needed getaway.

Visited 72 Butleigh in July 2025, with the family. Upon entering it was clean and spacious. Even had extra blankets. This was purely family time. All the shopping malls are close, making it a quick trip. The owners called and checked on us. I really loved that personal touch. The kids loved the entertainment area and my parents sat and enjoyed the calmness at the fish pond. I will definitely re-book another trip.

I have visited 72 Butleigh Place in St. Michaels with my friends, and we had an amazing time! The four-bedroom apartment was spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful kitchen that made cooking and socializing a breeze.

The highlight of the property was the stunning pool, which was perfect for relaxing and catching up with friends. The play area was also a great spot to hang out and enjoy each other's company.

What I loved most about this property was the peace and tranquility it offered. It was the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

I would highly recommend 72 Butleigh Place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with friends. The property's serene atmosphere and excellent amenities make it a great choice for a fun and peaceful stay.

Our Girls Trip was so amazing, we enjoyed the apartment a lot. Butleigh 72 is a very nice place surrounded by lovely nature, the place is peacefully quiet, private and secured. The bedrooms are very beautiful especially the main bedroom and the best part about the place is it has a playing room which has quite a good space and enjoyable games. We experienced so much fun with my girls and the pool. Giving 10/10 because it has a braai area, also wi-fi.
The outside view is perfect for pictures. The place is very beautiful.

A spacious neatly kept unit. Owner was very accommodating and ensured that we had checked in and were comfortable. Family had enough space to hang around without falling over each other, kids especially enjoyed the entertainment area. An amazing place that I would highly recommend to anyone wanting peace and tranquility.

72 Butleigh is an amazing place to getaway, the place is serene with an amazing view of the pond and trees that surrounds the place. Waking up to a beautiful sunrise and the sweet sounds of the birds and ducks. The pool is 30 seconds away and so is the pond. The pond has fish in which you can feed bread to. The ground floor unit is clean and spacious with comfortable beds and a lovely entertainment area with colorful lights that gets you in the mood to dance at night, while in the day the views are breath taking in this area of the house. The place is safe with a double garage right across from the unit. It is 5 minutes away from the beach and the shopping mall. We all had an enjoyable experience at 72 Butleigh.

We had a lovely family holiday stay at 72 Butleigh. It is private and secure with locked parking. The unit is very spacious with four bedrooms and two bathrooms, each with a toilet, shower and bathtub. The open plan kitchen was great for cooking, with a big island where we all could be together. The extra "game room" was such a bonus, especially in the evenings when we played card & board games. The unit is very close to the pool as well as the fish pond which our kids enjoyed so much. The braai amenities at the pool was also a big perk we made use of. The Unit is located close to all the main attractions such as the Shopping Centre, Snake Park, Butterfly Farm, Indulge Coffee Shop as well as Uvongo Beach - which is absolutely amazing for smaller kids.

The owner is very friendly and helpful, he checked in while we were there as well as afterwards. We will definitely be returning to 72 Butleigh for all our future family holidays.

The Butleigh complex is very safe and security is excellent. Unit 72 was very neat and spacious. The unit is well situated close to the pool and the pond. Pricing is very affordable and close to Shelly Beach Mall. We very really enjoyed our stay. Will definitely be booking there soon.

We wanted a serene place to celebrate my wife's birthday accompanied with close family members. A place to let loose and not have eyes rolled at you. We also needed it to have ample space for the kiddies. When you step out the enclosed veranda, the beautiful garden lays in front of you. Kitted with a short scenic trail and ponds with fish that literally eat the breadcrumbs from your palm. Our 2 year old enjoyed this. The pool is mere steps away from the unit. The enclosed veranda served as a play area during the day and was our club at night. Does have some decorative lights, but we carried our own also. We kept the music at a respectable volume and had no issues with neighbours. This place is peaceful, is equipped with what you need, family orientated and a home away from home. Good amenities and short distance to the beach and shops. Waiting to go back!
