“THE OWL & NATURE GARDEN”

Started in 2017 by Mandy and John Dutton. This garden is a place where our guests can sit with nature and look out onto the ocean and lagoon, and enjoy the peace and tranquillity away from the stress and pressures of life.

Amongst the many birds you will see or hear is the beautiful Eagle Owl, loved by John who is known as the Owl man. It truly is a gift of nature to have an Owl live on ones property, its feeds off snakes, frog’s, rats and insects, and is loyal to its territory for life.

Sadly many myths and lack of understanding leads to many humans seeing them as unwanted.

While you sit and enjoy the garden, you may even see Duiker and Bush Buck grazing on the perimeters.
Please respect nature, and do not litter in our garden or destroy our plants.
