Mvuradona lies in the heart of the bushveld with wildlife on our doorstep. Sit back, take a stroll or ride a bicycle while you enjoy sightings and sounds of hippos, elephants, lions and much more from the Crocodile River.

Our riverside accommodation depicts an authentic African thatch lodge with suites beautifully appointed in white linens and teak furniture. Large rooms and open communal areas promote a warm atmosphere and a feeling of personal space. Our accommodation options include a romantic Honeymoon Suite with a private balcony, one standard double & one twin room with inter-leading doors which is great for families as well as our four luxury bush suites.

Our pool deck overlooks the bushveld where our guests can relax and enjoy the frequent visits of the resident zebra, giraffe, warthog, impala and other little creatures like the mongoose and Franklin. This is the perfect spot to spend those hot summer afternoons.

Dining is always a special and intimate affair at Mvuradona. We take great pride in delicious wholesome meals that are served with a smile. We serve a set menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. After a long day in the bush sink into a chair around our fire-pit and relax while identifying the nightlife sounds of the bush and the bright stars of the African night sky.

KRUGER MORNING WALKS: Includes breakfast snack. Children under 12 years are not permitted.

JANE GOODALL’S CHIMPANZEE PROJECT: This home to chimpanzees that have been misplaced from their natural habitat is located in a beautiful setting within a 1000 hectare reserve. Price includes transfer & Chimp Tour. Excludes meals & drinks.

MAPUTO DAY TRIP: Experience this vibrant coastal city. The full day experience departs at 07h00 and returns late in the afternoon. Price excludes meals, drinks, VISAS and border tax.

SWAZILAND FULL DAY TOUR: Visit a Swazi cultural Village. Price includes village tour & performance. Excludes meals, drinks & VISAS.

Situated in Marloth Park wildlife sanctuary which is on the southern boundary of the Kruger National Park.

This security entrance is on Olifants Road. Continue with Olifants Road for 2km until you reach Waterpeer Street (Dirt Road). Turn right into Waterpeer and right again onto Raasblaar. 200m further on down Raasblaar you will find the entrance to Mvuradona Game Lodge on your right. Corner of Raasblaar and Seekoei Road. Entrance is in Raasblaar Road.

Fly or Drive Options:
SA Airlink flies to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA) Airport with regular flights, +/- 6 days per week.
(KMIA lies between Nelspruit, 22km and White River, 15km, on the R538)
The airport is about 105 km from Mvuradona and will take about 1hr and 22 min to travel.
Hire a car from Johannesburg or Nelspruit and do a self-drive to the lodge. The roads are good and the countryside is breathtaking. About 430 km and will take about 4 ½ hours to drive.
Transfers from Johannesburg Airport. A Mvuradona representative will meet you at OR Tambo International Airport and transfer you on a scenic journey to the lodge.

From Johannesburg
PTA on the N1, towards Polokwane (Approx. 5 hours).
Take the N4 to Witbank, stay on N4 towards Nelspruit. At Nelspruit continue straight towards Malelane/Komatipoort. 35 km after Malelane you will see the 1st entrance to Marloth Park (do not take) carry on with N4 for another 4.4km until you see a sign on left Tenbosch (10 km’s before Komatipoort). Turn left down Tenbosch and travel straight for 9kms until you reach big thatch entrance to Marloth Park. Quote Stand 3580 at the security gate, to be granted access.

Alternative road via Barberton
(Approx. 4.5 hours, 45km longer, but less traffic and no road works).
Take the N4 to Witbank, stay on N4 past Belfast, towards Machadodorp. Turn right on R541 into Machadodorp and right again onto the R541 towards Badplaas. Continue for approximately 56km. At T-junction turn left onto R38 towards Barberton for approximately 60km. At T-junction turn right towards Barberton. At 4-way crossing turn left, continue on R38 towards Kaapmuiden. Re-join the N4 towards Malelane / Komatipoort just after Kaapmuiden.
Stay on N4 and pass through Malelane. Carry on with N4, 35 km after Malelane you will see the 1st entrance to Marloth Park (do not take) carry on with N4 for another 4.4km until you see a sign on left Tenbosch (10 km’s before Komatipoort). Turn left down Tenbosch and travel straight for 9kms until you reach big thatch entrance to Marloth Park.
