Matt’s Place offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a cosy ground-floor apartment, situated in the secure Ramsgate Palms complex, within short walking distance from the beach.
The apartment does not have a sea view, however, there is direct beach access from the complex. The Ramsgate Blue Flag beach offers safe swimming, and guests can take a walk along one of the many paved beach pathways, in the forest or enjoy paddling on the lagoon. There is also the well-known Waffle House and Blue Lagoon Restaurant on the beach, a very short easy walk from the unit.
The apartment can accommodate up to 4 guests, and comprises 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The first bedroom contains a queen-size bed and the second bedroom contains 2 single beds. Each bedroom is equipped with a ceiling fan, and linen and bath towels are provided. The bathroom has a shower-over-the bath, a toilet and a basin. There is also a separate guest toilet.
The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with a fridge/freezer, a separate freezer for the fishermen, a stove, a microwave, cooking utensils, and cutlery and crockery for 4 guests. The kitchen also features a breakfast bar. The living room contains a TV with access to EasyView Dstv channels, and opens through glass sliding doors to a private patio with a weber braai and outdoor dining furniture.
There is secure undercover parking adjacent to the unit for 1 vehicle only. We unfortunately cannot accommodate parking for a second vehicle.
Guests are asked to note that we arrange for cleaning before you arrive and after you depart. The unit is not serviced daily. If you require cleaning assistance during your stay, this can be arranged at the cost price.
The complex offers controlled access with 24-hour security, and is secure on the perimeter with electric fencing. The complex also offers a communal laundromat (coupons can be purchased), a fully secured communal swimming pool, and braai areas in lush tropical gardens.
