Mahem B&B and Self Catering

Bed & Breakfast Accommodation In Memel

MAHEM B&B is named after the stately Crowned Crane found in the region. Located in Memel, Free State this country-style home offers both bed and breakfast and self catering accommodation.

Since 2003 we have become renowned for our warm country hospitality providing guests with a "home-away-from-home" experience. This peaceful environment creates a wonderfully refreshing atmosphere for the stressed-out city dweller.

We provide up-market accommodation comprising 6 x cosy en-suite bedrooms. All the rooms have TV’s with selected DSTV channels. Tea and coffee is provided.

Regret no dinners but we do provide barbecue packs (Braai packs) for the avid griller or you can visit one of the restaurants in the village.

Self-catering Accommodation

We also offer a 4-bedroom cottage all with en-suite bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and an outdoor Boma.

All the rooms have TV’s with selected DSTV channels. Tea and coffee is provided.

Activities close by:

Mahem Guest House is the ideal base from which to explore and discover this stunning part of our country. A range of activities and excursions can be planned by paging through our in-room information guide. Activities include mountain biking, adventure motor-biking, hiking, bird watching, scenic drives, 4x4 trails, a visit to the lion farm, gift shops, coffee shops, Seekoeivlei Nature Reserve, Majuba battlefield and much more.
