Lyon Paradise is a stunning venue with a huge thatch roof and lush green gardens, complete with beautiful roses, a koi fish pond, calming and tranquil water feature and a brilliant white gazebo as focal point, which is suitable for large groups and weddings and also offers luxurious accommodation, equipped with DSTV, in each room.
We specialise in memorable weddings, functions and conferences and comfortable, luxury accommodation in a peaceful rural atmosphere, with friendly service on the outskirts of Potchefstroom.
A sparkling blue pool set in the beautiful garden is refreshing especially during the lovely warm summer days.
Each of our 12 luxury rooms are tastefully decorated and equipped with two three-quarter beds of the finest quality. The bathrooms are on suite and equipped with shower, basin and toilet. Each room offers a 32 inch LCD TV, with DSTV (hotel package, with KYKNET). Coffee, tea and tasty rusks are also available in each room. Free covered parking is available.
We also have a larger luxury, 2 bedroom unit available, with its own kitchen as well as a spacious living area and spa bath. This unit offers a double bed and two three-quarter beds and comfortably sleeps four people. Extra beds can be arranged on request. This unit is often used as a bridal suite.
The neighbouring Pecan nut farm belongs to the same owner and is planted with more than 500 producing pecan nut trees. Refreshing nature walks along the rows and rows of trees can be enjoyed.
The Pecan nut farm has its own self-service 3 bedroom, double storey house, surrounded by the pecan nut trees, where 6 people can sleep comfortably on a double bed and 4 three- quarter beds. Extra beds can be arranged on request. The house have a beautiful kitchen and living area downstairs, as well as 3 bathrooms, DSTV and a lovely sociable veranda. The house is also equipped with three lock-up garages.
We are situated 10km outside Potchefstroom on the R501 to Carletonville, close to the Boskopdam Nature reserve. The area is renowned for various game farms and lodges, as well as a bird sanctuary on the Mooi river. Various water sports are offered on the Mooi river and Boskopdam.
