As the only dive resort and dive school inside the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, Coral Divers is conveniently the closest resort to the beach. The resort is surrounded by pristine bush, in a World Heritage Site that offers world class diving.

Sodwana Bay has exceptional boat diving year round, with dive sites suitable for beginner to advanced divers. With an impressive number of marine species to be seen at any time of the year, the reefs here, are a diver’s dream!
Nestled inside the coastal bush, you will find an array of accommodation styles to suit your budget. A well-stocked, and licensed bar is located near the pool deck and offers a variety of light meals, coffees, milk shakes and snacks. Choose from a selection of burgers, wraps, toasties or pizzas and many more, while relaxing at the pool side or in our fabulous Boma area. Fires are lit here every evening, and add a great ambience to the friendly and social vibe at Coral Divers. A large and newly renovated, well-equipped self-catering area, and offers all the 'mod cons', complete with compartmental fridges for those who wish to prepare their own meals.
Our accommodation ranges from rustic cabins and permanent safari tents with the bare basics, to more comfortable cabins with their own bathroom facilities. There are two types of cabins with bathrooms – the Standard Cabin & Private Bathroom and the Ensuite Cabin.
Standard Cabins and Safari Tents do not have their own bathrooms. Customers are required to use the KZN Wildlife Campsite separate ‘Ladies’ & ‘Gents’ bathroom facilities. Serviced daily, they consist of 3 toilets, 2 showers and a bath (for the ladies). Hot and cold running water is available, but there are no plug points in the bathrooms.
All cabins have linen provided (sheets/ pillows/ duvet.)
Those cabins with their own bathrooms, have a toilet, basin and a shower.
All cabins have electricity with plug points.
Tented accommodation offers two single beds and a light, but no plug points for charging phones etc. (You may do so at our reception with pleasure). Customers are required to provide their own bedding, but if you cannot bring it with, you may hire it for a refundable deposit of R100.00 per person.
Ensuite Cabin - Sleeps: 2
The Ensuite Cabins are the most spacious of all our cabins and set in park-like surroundings. 2 of the Ensuite Cabins are family rooms and have air-conditioners and sleep 3 people. All Ensuite Cabins have plug points, but tea and coffee making facilities are not available in the rooms.
Standard Cabin & Private Bathroom - Sleeps: 2
Our most popular cabin choice - it offers a comfortable stay and the convenience of a private bathroom. Please note:- Tea and coffee making facilities are not available in the rooms. You are welcome to make use of the self-catering facilities for making tea and coffee.

Safari Tent - Sleeps: 2
Our 'backpacker accommodation option' is the Safari Tent. A great choice for the adventurous and budget conscious travelling diver.
The KZN Wildlife ablutions for the park are serviced daily and consist of 3 toilets, 2 showers and a bath (The bath is only in the 'Ladies' and you will need to bring your own plug!). There is hot and cold running water.
All rooms sleep 2 people, except for 2 of the Ensuite Cabins that can sleep 3.

Reception & Facilities
The reception is located at the main entrance to the lodge and is open daily from 7am to 9:30pm (Accounts may be settled from 7am to 3:30pm). You will be able to pay for your park fees and buy diving permits at reception once you arrive.
Since not all our accommodation has plug points, cell phones and rechargeable camera batteries can be charged at reception, however, please provide a charger and note that all items are left at your own risk. Guests who are staying in the Safari Tents and do not have their own linen, may also hire this from reception if more convenient for them.
Bar, Takeaway & Restaurant
The Coral Bar is fully licensed and situated at the far end of the communal dining hall. Takeaways are available from 7am to 8pm daily and ordered from the bar.
Our Coffee Bar opens each day at 5.30am so that divers making their way to the beach on the first shuttle may be able to grab a quick tea, coffee or cappuccino and a snack if they wish.
Guests who have booked on our Dinner, Bed & Breakfast rates, can expect a full buffet each morning and evening. Breakfast is served from 6:30am until 10:30am and dinner is served from 6:30pm until 8:30pm.
Coral Divers has full self-catering kitchen for guests who wish to prepare their own meals, which includes 70 personalised storage fridges. Please bring your own fridge locks (a long padlock size 32mm). Cutlery, crockery and all cooking utensils are provided. Tea and coffee facilities are not available in the rooms, however guests are welcome to bring their own tea and coffee and use the self-catering facilities for this if they wish.
Guests that would like to take our buffet option but who are not staying with us on DBB rates, can pre-book for dinner before 12pm on the day that dinner is required and the day prior to requiring breakfast (Prices are available at reception).
A fire is lit on request in the ‘Boma’ braai area at 5:30pm.
We have a comfortable TV Lounge located just behind the dive planning area where guests can enjoy a catch up on the latest sports or children can be entertained with a movie. We have the full DSTV bouquet available.
Every evening at 7pm our dive staff and management meet with divers to plan the next day’s schedule. Should you be unable to attend, please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org to advise of your requirements and preferred dive sites and we will endeavour to book these if possible. Please check the dive planning board as soon as possible after the dive planning has taken place to check which dives you have been booked for.
Diving and snorkelling equipment hire is available from the main lodge and is located at the beach shuttle departure platform for your convenience. You may allocate your equipment hire to your room account if required. Please be sure to return all rentals to the lodge after use and do not hand it in or leave at the beach.
A complimentary shuttle service is available for all Coral Divers guests to travel to and from the beach. It will leave from the pool deck 45 minutes before each dive launch time (see dive planning board near the TV Lounge) and it will return after your dive.
Padi Diver Training
We offer PADI scuba experience programs i.e. PADI Discover Scuba Diving and Bubblemaker, as well as all the recreational diving qualifications from Open Water Diver through to Rescue Diver. These courses have no set start date and we are flexible to suit your needs. PADI Divemaster and Instructor courses are also available.
Snorkel & Scuba Experiences
Not keen to scuba dive? Why not enjoy the ocean with a boat ride, or snorkeling safari? With wonderful species like the Bottlenose Dolphins seen year round, this is always a fantastic experience.
