Clarens Cottage 2 offers self catering accommodation in the picturesque town of Clarens, known as "The Jewel of the Free State". It is within walking distance from the village square with its various shops and art galleries.
The cottage is tastefully decorated and perfect for 4 guests. The main bedroom is fitted with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bath, toilet and basin. The second bedroom is fitted with 2 single beds. The second bathroom has a shower, toilet and basin. The open-plan kitchen is equipped with fridge-freezer, microwave, cutlery and crockery. The dining and lounge area leads out onto a patio with braai facilities.
Clarens offers the best trout fishing in the country and attracts anglers and fly-fishers from far and wide. The mountains are an attraction of their own and offer incredible hiking trails and abseiling where the beautiful landscape can be enjoyed.

From Durban: N2 to just before Harrismith, glide off to Bethlehem on the N5. A few kms outside Harrismith turn left on the R712 to Phuthaditjaba (Qwa Qwa)
- Clarens via Golden Gate.
Turn left into Clarens and continue up Main street, when you reach the square go in at six out at twelve – continue up Main street for approximately 5 blocks. Turn right into Malherbe Street. (the Clarens Primary school is on the corner). Go down Malherbe and Clarens Cottage 2 will be on your right side.
From Johannesburg: N3 to S26 glide off before Villiers toll Plaza and take road across the N3 to Bethlehem. Pass through Bethlehem take the Clarens turn off R712.
Turn right and continue up Main street, when you reach the square go in at six out at twelve – continue up Main street for approximately 5 blocks. Turn right into Malherbe Street. (the Clarens Primary school is on the corner). Go down Malherbe and Clarens Cottage 2 will be on your right side.
