The west coast is a fisherman's dream and rock and surf angling can be done from the beach and rocks in Bloubergstrand. Those who are serious to catch South Africa's famous Galjoen, Cob and Steenbras can also embark on deep sea fishing from Cape Town Harbour. Atlantic Holidays is 2 km from Big Bay and its impressive new shopping mall and variety of outdoor restaurants on the beach front. This beach is the safest and most popular swimming venue in the area and ideal for family picnics and beach fun.
