Wolwefontein Lodge is a spacious,Hanover.

The house is comfortable and tastefully decorated, each bedroom having its own TV with DSTV, its own bathroom en suite or a private bathroom.. There are fans and heaters in every room. Meals are prepared by your hostess and served in the guesthouse diningroom. In the kitchenette off the lounge/ diningroom, there is a small fridge with fresh farm milk, so you can help yourself to coffee and tea when it suits you.

There is safe undercover parking next to the guesthouse. There are braai facilities as well as self catering facilities and for those who like to swim, there is a reservoir near the stables which we use as a swimming pool or you can swim in the swimming pool in the main house garden. There is plenty of space for children to play and allow the adults time to wind down in peace without having to worry about them. For the hunting enthusiast, we offer hunting during the winter months.

The farming enterprise is quite diverse - we breed Racehorses, Arabian horses, Partbred Welsh for children's riding ponies, Nguni cattle, dual purpose Merino sheep, Damara sheep, ducks and racing pigeons, as well as having a quarantine station for the export of sheep and goat embryos. So experiences during a stay at Wolwefontein can vary from seeing the sheep being shorn to watching the next Durban July winner being foaled down! One can make one's stay a quiet, look at the millions of stars and leave feeling relaxed and ready for the road or you could experience the constant circle of life that is life on the farm.
