Salt Rock, welcomes business people and families!
Situated in the quiet leafy seaside resort of Salt Rock on the North Coast of Natal, is Wild Fig Cottage. The cottage is in an elevated position looking into huge Natal Mahogany & wild fig trees. From the wooden deck bird life is abundant but also bushbabies, fruit eating bats and monkeys are some of our other wild visitors.
About the cottage: It sleeps 5 persons. It is airconditioned & has ceiling fans. A fully equipped kitchen contains among other things a dishwasher and microwave oven with a braai on the deck for those outdoor meals.
There are two double rooms one with queen bed and other with a double bed, a sleeper couch in the lounge for a fifth person. There is a TV with DSTV. Washing machine
is available on the property with a laundromat close by. Please bring your own towels and beach towels unless visitors from overseas. No Smoking in Cottage please
Property is gated and undercover parking provided.
Some Highlights: The closest beach is 400M or 5 Mins walk away and is renound for its reef snorkling and good surfing. Swimming beaches are shark netted . There are also several rock pools. Good line fishing is within walking distance. Several golf courses are in the close vicinity. Microlite flights over this beautiful area are popular. The Flag animal farm, crocodile farm, craft shops, good Restaurants and excellent shopping centres are all in close proximity. The famous Zululand Game Reserves & World Heritage site of
St Lucia, are in easy driving distance from Salt Rock.
We are 20 minutes from the King Shaka International Airport on the N2 Freeway.
