WESTLODGE was architecturally designed and built in 1998 in a Victorian style as a B&B and is our home. We have five, luxury, en-suite bedrooms which have been stylishly decorated.
All five of the rooms have full bathrooms with both a shower and bath, satellite, TV, oil heater and hospitality trays.
We serve either a cold buffet or full English cooked breakfast.
Graskop is in the heart of and the most central village to all the Mpumalanga Panorama scenic routes.
The
Kruger National Park (Phabeni Gate) is some 48km from WESTLODGE and day visits with a picnic basket packed by us, are possible, returning from the heat of the bushveld to the cool, inviting, pine-scented atmosphere of Graskop! It is also possible to visit animal rehabilitation centres within an easy drive of Graskop.

Garden Suites: (Fleur de Lis - east and west)
Our two luxury and stylishly decorated Garden Suites are situated in a detached wing, but connected to the main building by means of a covered verandah. The rooms face north and overlook our rose garden. These rooms have both a bath and separate shower with hand basin and a separate WC and bidet, Satellite TV and hospitality tray have been provided for your comfort.
- The west suite has a queen sized bed.
- The east suite has twin, three-quarter sized beds.
Rozen Suite:
Luxurious and romantic for that special occasion stay, this charming suite
faces north onto its own secluded corner of informal garden with trees, shrubs
and an abundance of hydrangea bushes. It is on the ground floor and at the end
of the hidden away north western wing of the house, with its own private garden
verandah and entrance. In the room is a bath and two hand basins, separate
shower, separate wc and bidet. Satellite TV and a hospitality tray provided. It
has nothing less than a full king-sized bed.
First Floor bedrooms:
There are two en-suite bedrooms on the first floor of the main house which face east overlooking 'Fairyland'. A private lounge furnished in cane is situated between the two rooms which also share an open balcony from which to enjoy the view on a warm, balmy evening.
The '
Madelief' room with its twin three-quarter beds, is on the southern side of the building and has a separate shower and bath with hand basin and WC.
The '
Wedgewood' room with its queen sized bed, on the northern side of the building facing God's Window in the distance, has a shower over the bath with hand basin and WC.
Both these rooms have satellite TV, oil heaters and a hospitality tray for your comfort.
- We do not accommodate children under 16 years of age.
Places To Visit:
Within a radius of about 50km from WESTLODGE you can visit many of the Master Landscape Gardener's work, including The Pinnacle, God's Window, Wonder View, Lisbon and Berlin waterfalls, Bourke's Luck Potholes, the Three Rondavels, Blyde River Canyon (Reputed to be the third largest in the world), Forest Falls (which requires a short hike), Jock of the Bushveld's memorial site, Mac Mac Falls, Mac Mac Pools, Lonecreek Falls, Bridal Vale and Horse-shoe Falls amongst other spectacular sites.
There are many walks and hikes in and around Graskop.
Because of its mountainous terrain Graskop is a cyclists paradise. There are many trout fishing sites and streams in the area.
And for more energetic! Set in the historic and beautiful surroundings of Pilgrim's Rest, is a well maintained 9 hole golf course.
