At the Waschklip Conference and Recreational Facilities we pride ourselves on
offering you a conferencing, recreational and accommodation venue with a unique
ambience.
Waschklip Conference and Recreational Facilities is located ± 150 km from Cape
Town on the R27 route to Langebaan and boasts conferencing, accommodation, boma
and recreational facilities creating an attractive and tranquil atmosphere for
all your "out of the office" meeting requirements.
Its heritage is rich and interesting. Set on a dairy farm over a hundred years
old, Waschklip started with an inspiration, an inspiration to turn an old farm
into a place that employees of Saldanha Works can share and enjoy with their
families and community.
The place began as a dairy farm, which explains the troughs that you would see
alongside the walls in the conference venue which have now been restored to a
conference venue with a unique setting while maintaining its former character.
This farm prizes fynbos and a myriad of plant species; is habitat to innumerable
insect and birdlife, as well as springbuck, bontebok, zebras and horses.
Our dedicated conference co-ordinating team have received extensive training in
order to assure you of effective and efficient service throughout the duration
of your "out of the office" meeting.

Accommodation - Self Catering Cottages
Our self-catering cottages are Cape Dutch styled.
All units have individual external entrances that leads into shared lounges. Our
units are equipped with alarms systems and contain the following items:
Kettle and beverages (rusks, coffee, tea etc)
Microwave and electric frying pan
Bar fridge (not stocked)
Television sets (Channels: SABC 1, SABC 2, SABC 3, E-tv, M-net, Movie Magic 1&2
and all SuperSport channels.)
The rooms are divided by a lounge area, which makes it ideal for families. All
bedding including towels are supplied to make your stay that much more
comfortable.
The cottages can accommodate a maximum of 30 persons sharing, Please see the

Conference Facilties
The Barn is divided into two functional areas including a pre-foyer and a
conference rooms. The pre-foyer is mostly used for registrations or
entertainment of guests where the refreshments are served and offered.
The bar counter in the pre-foyer can be stocked to suit your requirements/needs.
As we do not hold a liquor license no alcoholic beverages are sold on the
premises.
The kitchen is designed mainly for warming-up and final touches of caterers. The
basic needs are however catered for such as a gas stove, fridge, microwave,
kettle, washing area, etc. Breakfast and/or lunch available from our set menu
for groups of ten or more.
All cutlery and crockery are also available to rent at the facility.
This facility is easily accessible by persons with disabilities.
We offer a facility of a high standard with the following fixed audio visual
