Situated in the picturesque Hemel-en-Aarde Country Club estate, Wagtail Lodge offers the discerning guest unrestricted access to club facilities: an Olympic-sized swimming pool, kids' splash pool, gymnasium, squash and tennis courts, chip-and-put green, and sauna. After trying out all of these activities, you can enjoy a sundowner in the private bar or library. Landscaped walking paths meander through the secured 45-hectare estate, where you can observe fine examples of the Cape fauna and flora.

The estate, located between mountain and sea, is less than 3 km from the centre of Hermanus, renowned as being the best land-based whale-watching destination in the world. The personality of this colorful town is a product of the variety of restaurants, wine farms and interesting pursuits available to its diverse visitors.

This brand new house comfortably sleeps six in three bedrooms. The master bedroom is located upstairs and has a full en-suite bathroom (bath and shower) and study area. Downstairs you will find one queen bedroom and one twin bedroom with a shared full bathroom. The twin room can convert into a kid's pad, to accommodate an additional two children on pull-out beds. All bedrooms have doors opening onto attractive terraces.

Tastefully furnished in a beach-cottage style, the house boasts its own plunge pool, under-cover patio and braai area, viewing deck for spectacular sunsets, water feature, and established garden.
