View Lodge owned by Jeff and Sarian Haxton is situated in the Gariep Dam,
(previously known as the Hendrik Verwoerd Dam) nominated as Tourism town of the
year.
Only 5 kilometres off the N1 with 180° view over the biggest man made dam in
South Africa.
Our accommodation offers:
The units consisting of 2 bedrooms with wall mounted fans and heaters, bathroom
with shower, bath, toilet and separate toilet down stairs and up stairs a
lounge, TV 1, 2, 3 E-TV, and air-conditioning, with private balcony overlooking
Gariep Dam.
We have
- 2 Units for 4-6 persons.
- 1 Unit for 4 persons.
Cool off in our sparkling pool or enjoy a drink at the private licensed bar for
residents only.
Small conferences can also be accommodated.
Dinners can be served on the premises.
Assistance at reception is available 24 hours.
As View Lodge is about half way between Cape Town and Johannesburg, Port
Elizabeth and Johannesburg, it is the perfect accommodation for a break away,
business or just to overnight.
It is a perfect destination for tranquility and peace of mind
