Victoria Bay Surfari Accommodation and Backpackers is situated on the small road down to the famous Victoria Bay swimming and surfing Beach in the Garden Route area, near George, South Africa.

Situated on three hectars of coastal forest, only walking distance from the beach, it is an unique experience which will appeal to the adventurous traveller, nature lover and surfer as well as families. From here you can discover the whole Garden Route area up to Oudtshoorn in the Klein Karoo.

It is also a very central location for the traveling businessman and worker.

We cater for:

We therefore cater for holidays, families and backpackers exploring the Garden Route as well as businessmen and workers.

We are also very popular with larger groups, for example sport groups and their families, as well as functions and private parties. We have a protected courtyard with bar and braai facilities which connects all the lounge areas and is ideal for functions.

Our venue facility caters for all functions up to a 120 people and accommodation can be arranged on two properties for this number.

Bedrooms and accommodation:

We have luxury suites which are large bedrooms with beautiful views, its own full bathroom and dstv. These are ideal for newlyweds, families or anyone that requires some luxury.

We have 6 double bedrooms all with their own bathrooms. Four of the rooms have beautiful forest or sea views and the other bedrooms opens out onto a tranquil garden area. The double rooms offer queen, double or two single beds.

Some of the double bed rooms have sleeper couches or twin single beds that caters for children or extra guests.

The dormitory rooms offers four or six sleepers, all with their own bathrooms.

Lounge facilities:

We have three lounges with Dstv where the guest can relax as well as two kitchens for self catering. There are also a bar and internal and external braai facilities.

We also offer breakfast and meals on request as well as special meal packages for group bookings, depending on their requirements.

In the evenings we have fires in the court yard catering for barbeques.

Activities:

The Garden Route is known for its beauty and adventure. From us you can book any adventure or sightseeing trip.

These include:

• canoiing,
• surfing,
• shark cage diving,
• dolphin and whale watching,
• hiking,
• extreme sports as well as
• sightseeing trips to Oudtshoorn and other scenic villages or
• Game viewing where you can observe the Big Five.
