Umzimkulu River Lodge
A 38ha adventure playground set on a spectacular bend of the Umzimkulu River. A stocked 2ha dam and 2,5km of river which culminates in Thrombosis gorge rated as one of the best stretches of fly fishing and kayaking rivers in South Africa.
Activities include canoeing, tubing, table tennis, pool table, walking, trampoline, jungle gym, a volley ball court and a charming animal farm. DStv is available in our communal TV lounge.
Log Cabin
A fully equipped, self catering cabin with 2 en suite double rooms, 3 twin rooms, separate toilet, separate shower and bathroom, open lounge with bed sitter, dining room and large verandah overlooking the river.
Honeymoon Suite
An en suite unit with canopy bed, log fire, stocked bar fridge, tea / coffee making facilities, kitchenette and private deck overlooking the river sets the stage for a memorable and romantic retreat.
4 Sleeper
A fully equipped, self catering cottage accommodates 4 in a main bedroom and bed sitter, kitchen and bathroom.
8 Sleeper
A fully equipped, self catering cottage with two double rooms and a loft room with four single beds.
2 Sleeper
Free standing, double storey unit (steep staircase) with double en suite room upstairs, balcony overlooking the gardens & river. Open plan kitchenette/lounge/dining area (with log fire) downstairs, deck with braai facilities.
9 Sleeper
Free standing double storey unit with 1 double en-suite room with bed sitter, 2 twin rooms (upstairs), bunk bed (suitable for children under 12), fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, lounge / dining room, veranda with spectacular view of the river.
