Umzimkulu 4, a 3 bedroom apartment, is part of the Mangrove Beach Estate
which is situated within an hours drive from Durban International Airport and
150 yards from truly exceptional white sandy beaches featuring a beautiful a
tidal pool.
The Estate has electronic access control and is electric fenced. Available for
use by guests, is a swimming pool, games room, gym and direct beach access via a
short private boardwalk along the quaint Ikotshwana lagoon.
Umzimkulu 4 has spectacular sea views. Dolphins, which are common along this
coastline, can be viewed virtually daily from the comfort of the lounge. Whales
are also prevalent during their migratory season (May to November).
The apartment consists of an open plan lounge, kitchen and a veranda. The unit
has three bedrooms and sleeps six persons. There is a king size bed in the main,
en-suite bedroom, while the remaining two bedrooms, which share a bathroom have
two single beds in each room. All rooms are fitted with built-in cupboards. The
apartment is fully equipped, including beach towels, DVD and DSTV ( which is
connected on the arrival of guests). The lounge/kitchen and main bedroom have
air-conditioners and the kitchen has a microwave oven, stove and fridge/freezer.
There is a Weber braai on the veranda.
A daily cleaning service from 8h30 - 13h00can be arranged at an additional fee
of R85.00 per day. A regular
laundry service can be arranged at an additional charge.
The area offers an abundance of activities with easy access to top class
amenities including, popular shopping centers, entertainment centers, casinos
and many good restaurants. The coastline boasts 11 magnificent golf courses,
blue flag swimming beaches and spectacular scenery. Five small but excellent
nature reserves offer a variety of antelope, zebra, wildebeest and giraffe as
well as an abundance of bird life and walking trails. Lake Eland, situated on
the edge of a gorge has one of the country's longest and highest suspension
bridges. The Riverbend Crocodile farm is also an attraction.
Oribi Gorge offers nature lovers stunning hiking trails, horse riding and
birding, it is also a must for adrenaline junkies with its variety of adventure
sports - one of the world's highest abseiling sites, mountain biking and white
water rafting.
Umzimkulu 4 is the ideal base from which to spend lazy beach days and enjoy all
the above and much more, from art galleries and craft shops, deep-sea fishing
and dive centers, offshore cruises viewing the Southern right, orca and
humpbacks whales, canoeing, amusement parks nightclubs, the choice is yours.
