Situated a few minutes' walk from a beautiful beach with several rock pools,
which are perfect for children, Tshayile is simply ideal for a family holiday.
The house is spacious, comfortable, light and airy and it offers stunning sea
and magical mountain views.
Tshayile sleeps six, one bedroom has a queen size bed, the other two have two
single beds in each. The bedrooms are of equal size with built-in cupboards.
Tshayile is fully furnished, with a spacious open plan kitchen/living/dining
room with large glass sliding doors on the north and south sides. The kitchen is
well equipped including a dishwasher, automatic washing machine, hob and oven,
plus a microwave oven and eight place settings.
Tshayile has an enclosed grassed courtyard, perfect for children. A mobile braai
and north and south facing patios. For D.S.T.V. Bring along your smart card!
There is a fresh water vlei a five minute walk away, ideal for swimming,
canoeing or sailing. A rare land based breeding colony of jackass penguins is a
ten minute drive away, and visitors are able to view the penguins, rock rabbits
and a variety of birds in their natural surroundings. This will delight and
fascinate young and old alike.
The Harold Porter botanical gardens are just a short drive away, and ideal for
gentle walks, mountain hikes or picnics. The Disa waterfall is a must to visit
as is Leopard's Kloof. There is also a child-friendly restaurant, with a
verandah and a grassed area which is perfect for children to explore and enjoy.
Many anglers enjoy the fishing on the various beaches.
There are several fine restaurants in Bettys Bay and surrounding villages.
Groceries and other supplies not found in the local shops, can be found at
Kleinmond, a ten minute drive away. The new harbour development at Kleinmond,
offers a variety of shops, restaurants and much more.
There are two golf courses and facilities for bowls and tennis also situated at
Kleinmond.
Regrettably, no pets. Visitors to kindly bring their own bedding and towels.
