The Great White Shark Package
We invite you to stay at Tranquility Guest House for a "once in a life time"
adrenaline packed adventure. Take a boat trip to Seal Island, in False Bay, 18
nautical miles from Simon's Town, and home to 64 000 Cape Fur seals and 20 000
Cape cormorants, the hunting ground of the Great White Shark. It is at dawn, on
the boat and in the deep waters, on the westerly side of the island, that you
have the opportunity to witness one of nature's most awesome spectacles, the now
famous breaching of the Great White Shark as it pursues its prey, the Cape Fur
seal. It is the only place in the world where you are fortunate enough to
glimpse this intense predatory/prey interaction and a must do for your trip to
Cape Town.
