Vosburg is a small picturesque Karoo town situated halfway between Britstown
and Carnavon. It is on the flower route between Gauteng and the West Coast about
322 km from Kimberley.
Vosburg was established on the farm Processfontein in 1895. It was named after
Mr Vos and the van Rensburg family. More than 22 buildings in town are national
monuments. The typical Karoo "Tuishuise" or Town houses are beautiful and a lot
of them are being restored at the moment.

Gauteng. No traffic congestion here! Peace and quiet is in abundance here!
Hunting is big in Vosburg. Springbok abound and a lot of farmers offer hunting
packages. This area contains some ancient Bushmen history. Bushmen paintings,
graves and a rare Bushmen piano is on a farm in the district and can be visited.
