Attractions:
The Walter Sisulu National Botanical Gardens is a popular destination for locals and visitors. Some of the main attractions are the large variety of plant and bird species. The centre piece of the gardens is a majestic waterfall which is a huge attraction. Another attraction not to be missed is The Ngwenya Glass Blowing Factory which is open to the public. This is where you will get watch how the recycled glass is melted and then blown and created into beautiful, unique works of art. There is plenty to see and do in the area for the whole family.

Climate:
Noordheuwel is situated in Gauteng which enjoys a moderate climate. The summer months are warm to hot with thunderstorms in the afternoons. The winter days are cool and dry with temperatures dropping considerably during the evenings.
