Touching Heaven is a four-bedroomed family home on two levels five minutes from the beach,
Gordon's Bay in the Western Cape of South Africa. It has spectacular, breathtaking views of the Helderberg as well as the Peninsula across False Bay, and a side view of
Table Mountain from the balcony/deck, which stretches around the entire house. Sunsets are truly magical and whale-watching can be done from May to October. The house, which can comfortably accommodate 8 people, is built in such a way that the view can be seen from every room.
The upper level, accessed from the street, consists of an entrance hall, lounge, dining room, kitchen (fully-equipped with new appliances - dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier), scullery, the main bedroom, with a queen-sized bed, and an en-suite bathroom (bath and shower). The lower level consists of three bedrooms and a bathroom (bath and shower) and a separate toilet. Two of these bedrooms have double beds, while the third has two ¾ beds. Linen and bath towels are provided. Beach towels need to be brought by the guests. Parking is provided for one car in the garage, while there is space for another two or three cars on the property.
The lounge is equipped with a television, DVD player and hi-fi set. DStv (Satellite television) is connected, and all that is required is to activate the smartcard in the machine for the period of your stay or to bring your own smartcard. Security is excellent, and a safe is provided for valuables. Patio furniture consists of a wooden table with 8 chairs and a portable barbeque.

Cape Town International Airport takes approximately 30 minutes. There is a variety of excellent restaurants, pubs and shopping malls in the vicinity.The area is ideal for any of the following activities: angling, bathing, jet-skiing, surfing, shark-diving, golf, wine-tasting, hiking and whale-watching. In Spring, the Western
Cape Nature Reserve boasts magnificent displays of indigenous flowers and is only 11/2 hours away.
