Moutse Nature Reserve

Moutse Nature Reserve lies about 23km South West of Groblersdal. Little is known about the Reserve which is found in the Elias Motsoaledi Local Municipality in Limpopo. The reserve which was proclaimed a protected area in March 1996 covers approximately 1500 hectares and according to its proclamation is managed by the Limpopo Tourism Parks Board. There are no facilities nor are there currently any documented activities in the reserve. The Loskop Dam Game Reserve, where some of the mammals that have been reintroduced to the reserve include White rhino, buffalo, eland, sable and giraffe to name just a few, lies approximately 30km South East of the Moutse Nature Reserve.
