Situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Clarens, you will find the Blou Donki Art Gallery. The galleries doors opened for the first time on the 23rd of June 2007. The gallery with its modern, stylish and trendy ambience showcases artwork by leading and emerging artists from across South Africa. There is a fine collection of paintings, ceramics, functional art, sculptures and photography. The gallery is continuously expanding its collection with new artworks being sourced from all regions of South Africa. You can visit the gallery online or make a relaxing break away from the city and visit it in Clarens. The owners invite you to come and immerse yourself in the world of South African contemporary art.
The gallery, which is located in the Windmill Centre on Main Street, is open from Monday to Thursday 08:30 to 16:30 (Closed Tuesdays), Fridays and Saturdays 08:30 to 17:00 and Sundays 08:30 to 15:00. During the School holidays the Gallery is open every day. Monday to Thursdays 08:30 to 16:30 and Friday to Sundays 08:30 to 17:00. Exhibitions will be held periodically at the gallery during the course of the year.
