The Vaal Meander Wine Route is an annual event which takes place in Gauteng, South Africa. This event is popular amongst locals and visitors from around the country and runs over 8 weeks from the 7th July to 26th August. This is one of South Africa's greatest Wine Festivals and is unique to the area. Be sure to mark these dates on your calendar of things to do this year, you won't be disappointed.

Gauteng's very own Wine Route is in it's 9th year of celebrations and each year the Vaal Meander Wine Route grows bigger and better with more visitors and much more to see and do. One of the great attractions of this event is the fact that you can choose from a number of modes of transport from Vintage Car, Luxury Cruiser, Limousine, Helicopter, Speedboat, Houseboat, Donkey Cart, Tour Bus or Taxi. How exciting is that? Enjoy the Wine Route in absolute luxury, there are optional experiences you may enjoy from a luncheon on a luxurious boat on the river or you could make a weekend of it and stay aboard the House Boat and enjoy the full beauty of the experience. Cruise down the river sipping wine and enjoying the scenic views and great hospitality. You may use your own car and meander through the Wine Route with your family and friends.
