Liquifruit Irene Half Marathon & 10km
The Liquifruit Irene Half Marathon & 10km is an annual race which takes place in Gauteng, South Africa. It is a well organised event and will be held in Irene on the 09 November 2013.
The Liquifruit Irene Half Marathon is a well supported event amongst locals and visitors from around the country and attracts thousands of entrants. The race offers three distances so that the whole family can enjoy the festivities of the day. There will be a 21.1km half marathon, 10km and a 5km fun run. The whole family is invited to take part. Walkers are welcome. The run is of moderate difficulty and the route goes through the Agricultural Research Council's Irene Farm, the Irene Dairy Farm and the Irene Golf Course. The race offers stunning, tranquil views as well.
Entry fees:
21.1km - R50
10km - R40
5km Fun Run - R30
Temporary License 21.1km and 10km - R30
Both the 21.1km and the 10km race start at 6am promptly. The 5km Fun Run will start at 6:10am.
Pre-entries can be done on www.enteronline.co.za and at local sports stores. Entries can be done on the day of the race from 4:30am.
All finishers will receive medals and category winners. There will be great spot prizes throughout the day too.
