The Oude Molen Distillery MTB Challenge is an annual event which is held at the Oude Molen Distillery in Grabouw in the Western Cape, South Africa. The event will take place on the 19th August 2012. It is a popular event amongst locals and visitors. Be sure to get your entries in as soon as possible.

Whether you are a mountain bike enthusiast or just a beginner or you want to enjoy the fun and festivities, this is a great outing for the whole family. There's a choice of three race distances of varying difficulties so that the whole family, of all ages can join in the fun. There is a 65km, 35km and a 10km.The riders can still look forward to some fun challenges. Riders need to have a MTO permit in their possession to ride the routes. The Oude Molen routes will be open to the public after the race.

Route description :
65km
This route is one of the more challenging of the three choices. Riders can expect to enjoy the full diversity of Grabouw, along jeep tracks, challenging trails and a variety of climbs. The route offers some of the most beautiful scenic views.

35km
The 35km route is similar to the 65km route, without the major climbs. Riders can look forward to some new single tracks and a variety of riding surfaces.

10km
For those who want to enjoy the scenery and enjoy the ride, this is probably the best route to take. There are a few challenges but they are fun. There are a few varying riding surfaces which will provide an enjoyable experience. All riders are welcome to enter.

65km - 8am
35km - 8:30am
10km - 9am

Late entries will be taken at registration. There will be a penalty fee of R50 for the 65km and 35km events.
