The Toy Run will start at the Cape Town Market at Gunners Circle (Northern Pick n Pay Hypermarket) and will end at Maynardville. The Toy Run is an annual event and has become an icon in South Africa. The Toy Run will take place on the 27th November 2011. Dates for 2012 are to be confirmed.

Thousands of motorcyclists take part in this event, carrying toys for charity. It has become the largest motorcycle charity event in the world. The aim of the event is caring for those less fortunate during the festive season. Toy Run has been running since 1982 and has grown bigger and better and more supported each year. It is a true success and locals and visitors enjoy the festivities and celebrate the joyous occasion by donating soft, cuddly toys and other toys for underprivileged children. PLEASE - no toy guns of any sort - these will not be distributed.

Motorcycle enthusiasts across the country will be riding out in numbers once more to participate in Toy Run events that will be hosted across South Africa. The whole family will enjoy the day out for a good cause. There will be loads of entertainment and a variety of stalls including delicious foods.
