Constantia Valley Grape Run

Constantia Valley Grape Run
The Constantia Valley Grape Run is held in the Western Cape in the beautiful town of Constantia. This is an annual event and is well supported by locals, visitors and well known runners such as Comrades winner, Vladimir Khotov and Bob de la Motte from Australia who came second. The race has grown considerably over the years with up to 1470 finishers in 2009 and it is still growing each year. The run is a half marathon and is a tough course, challenging for even the most trained runners. The course is spectacular with breathtaking views through the wine estates in the Constantia Valley, namely Groot Constantia, Buitenverwachting, Constantia Uitsig and Klein Constantia and also parts of the Tokai Forest.
