Constantia Uitsig Wine Estate
This estate is situated in the beautiful town of Constantia in the Western Cape province in South Africa. It is approximately 20 minutes from the Cape Town city centre. Once the home of the Lategan family for five generations, the Constantia Uitsig Wine Estate was known as Constantia View. The farm was bought by David and Marlene McCay in 1988 and has been srestored to an award winning wine estate.
With winning wines, fine restaurants, a private cricket oval, luxury spa and an upmarket hotel, this Uitsig Estate is one of the most popular and luxurious vacation destinations amongst locals and international visitors.
There is also a wine shop at the entrance where you can taste some of these superb wines or buy one or two bottles of wine to enjoy at home and bring back some five star memories.
