Constantia Wine Route
The Constantia Wine Route is situated in the Western Cape province of South Africa. The Constantia Valley is the oldest wine growing estate in Southern Africa and is only 20 minutes away from the Cape Town city centre. The original Constantia farm was started by Simon van der Stel and then divided into smaller farms. There are three famous estates, Buitenverwachting, Groot Constantia and Klein Constantia. These wine estates produce award winning wines.
The route is breathtaking with vineyards stretching along the Constantiaberg Mountain side. The Constantia Wine Route trip is a memorable one that the whole family will enjoy and with restaurants where you can enjoy a delicious lunch together.

There are wine tours daily where you will get to taste these fine wines and there are wines on sale to the public.
