Royal Cape Golf Club

The Royal Cape Golf Club is situated in the upmarket town of Constantia in Cape Town, South Africa. It is known to be the oldest golf club in South Africa and "Royal" says it all. This beautiful and well known club was founded in 1885. It has since then grown and relocated but the name still stands. The club is approximately 15 minutes from the Cape Town city centre and the Cape Town International airport which makes it convenient for locals and visitors.

The Royal Cape Club is a championship course and has hosted many championships such as the South African Open and South African Amateur Championships. The infamous Ernie Els won the South African Open Championship here in 1996.
This course also has the most beautiful Table Mountain views and you are sure to enjoy this demanding course with its narrow fairways and tricky greens. The greens are beautifully manicured and the course is well maintained.

This course is popular so bookings are essential.
