This well known sanctuary is situated in the upmarket town of Hout Bay in Cape Town, South Africa. With over 3000 birds and animals, this sanctuary is the largest bird park in Africa.
The many aviaries are set in beautiful gardens and visitors and locals come here regularly to enjoy the intimacy with nature. There is a large variety of bird species here from cranes, love birds, the ostrich, pelicans to storks and vultures, to mention only a few.
There is a Monkey Park with the popular and very cute little Squirrel Monkeys who enjoy your company as much as you enjoy theirs. There are also some little lizards, Iguanas and Tortoises to see while on your walk through these beautiful gardens.
