Wolhuterskop Game and Nature Reserve

Wolhuterskop Game and Nature Reserve

Plus or minus 6km outside Bethlehem on the Fouriesberg Road lies this gem in the Free State. The reserve is spread out over 800ha of rolling hills and wide open spaces, where herds of zebra, rooihartebees, eland, springbok. impala, black wildebeest and many other antelope species can be found grazing. The reserve can be enjoyed from the comfort of your vehicle, or you can put a pair of hiking boots on and get up close with nature. There is a 19km Wolhuterskop Hiking Trail that runs through the park with an over night stop. There is also a lake in the reserve with a bird hide and it has unsurpassable views of the Witteberge.
Should you wish to, the reserve can also be explored by horseback, contact Tel +27-58-3035732
