Outeniqua Transport Museum

Steam locomotives from years gone by, vintage cars for child and enthusiast alike, model trains, train number plates, marker plates, photographs, poetry and stories. Johannesburg's first steam train, Paul Kruger's coach, a coach from the royal visit in 1947 and the list goes on. Fortunately there is a coffee shop and a restaurant to sit and ponder the sights you have seen before embarking on a trip on South Africa's oldest working steam locomotive, the Outeniqua Choo Tjoe. Afterwards you can return to the museum, browse the information centre and purchase a reminder of your trip from one of three memorabilia shops.
