Splashy Fen Music Festival
Splashy Fen Music Festival is held in Underberg, KwaZulu Natal on Splashy Fen Farm. It is always held on the Easter weekend , in 2010 it will start on Thursday 1st April 2010 and finish on Monday 5th April 2010. Besides from the many bands that play live at Splashy Fen Music Festival there is also crafts and food stalls.
Accommodation available at the Splashy Fen Music festival are camping areas which is included in the ticket price, festival-goers are allowed to camp in any of the unrestricted areas. There is family campsites, where a campsite has been cordoned-off and is situated in the upper camping ground, below the festival tower. The family campsite is close to the children's entertainment marquee which is run by Ocean View Montessori School, the family campsite attracts an additional fee of R100.00 per car and is payable at the main gate, once paid a pass will be issued for the family campsite. Kreef Hotel tented camp is also available, and offers bed and breakfast as well as separate ablution facilities, private parking and 24hr security. The tents are spacious and lockable and have either a double mattress or two single mattresses. A buffet breakfast is served in the mornings at Kreef Hotel, after that the kitchen is available for self catering. There is also a variety of accommodation in the area such as hotels, self catering cottages, backpacker lodges, guest houses and bed and breakfast guest houses.
