Smithfield. "Tinkerbell" is an ideal stop-over en-route to the Eastern Cape and many other destinations or take a break and get acquainted with a town from the bygone era. This lovely Victorian home has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, one en-suite. The bedrooms all have double beds with day beds in the study and lounge.
The spacious lounge has wonderful high ceilings that keep you cool in summer and a cozy fireplace to keep off the winter chills. As there is no TV in the house, we have a games room/study equipped with pool table, many books, games and Hi-Fi with vinyl records to suite all tastes. The open plan kitchen has everything one would need. Just sit on the front stoep with a sundowner. "Tinkerbell" is fully equipped with all linen and towels. The enclosed back garden where one can admire the wonderful Free State sunsets and clear skies for star gazing also has a built-in braai. Pets are most welcome. There is a large kennel in the garden or pets may sleep inside. Pet must be tick and flea free.
Rouxville is the southern most town in the Free State, on the Maluti Route, in close proximity to the Lesotho Mountains.
