Timamoon - The most seductive lodge on the planet.

Timamoon is a gorgeous sexy hideaway set high up in the hills and surrounded by forests and close to the Kruger Park & Blyde River Canyon. Each of the luxurious Moroccan and Zanzibar styled lodges are romantic and private, with mosquito net draped four-poster beds, large fireplaces and baths to float away in. From your private pool, there are endless views of the distant mountains and the valley where the Sabie River flows and Longcrested eagles ride the afternoon thermals.

Superb food is served by renowned chefs in an exotic candle-lit restaurant built on stilts alongside a small pond and overlooking a tropical garden. Dinners end in the cigar lounge with its own magical ambience. Everyone should experience a few tropical nights at Timamoon at least once in their lives.

Accommodation

Moon River

Your rim flowing pool is poised at the edge of the world with distant vistas of endless forests, the river below and no one else but the two of you. The outside daybed is built on stilts to capture the feeling of peace and tranquility that surrounds Moon River. Built for the perfect sensuous experience, Moon River offers you exclusive luxury with an evocative style that makes it a favourite for all romantics. Panels from India, doors from Indonesia, the four-poster Indian bed, a pebbled fire place and the etchings on the walls combine to give you an unique Timamoon experience. The sunken Moroccan styled candle lit bath provides a sexy setting to celebrate romance. For an exotic experience try the outside shower.

Bombay Moon

Perched at the very top of the Timamoon Estate, Bombay Moon has the most splendid views of the Sabie Valley and river far below. Your own rock pool and outside daybed allows you to make the most of this magical setting. The beautiful four-poster bed, the large log fireplace and the warm ochre colours create an enchanting setting. The perfect way to end your day is to light the candles, and incense sticks and step into this wonderful big bubble bath. The outside shower hidden in Bombay Moon’s tropical garden ensures that you never miss out on the view.

New Moon

Your private pool at New Moon balanced on the edge provides you with stunning views of the sun setting over the valley. The unique décor of New Moon with its’ Persian pebble carpet, large fireplace, some very special artifacts and amber lightening is magical. The seduction of this large candle lit bath is dreamy and inviting while the outside shower has its own charm.

Blue Moon

Tucked away and secluded, Blue Moon has endless views of the Sabie Valley from its pebble pool deck. The outside daybed hangs over the valley from where you can dreamily watch the sun go down at the end of the day. Blue Moon with its lovely large couch in front of the log fireplace, a mosquito draped four poster bed and soft lighting all exude a soft sensual mood which is unforgettably part of the Timamoon experience. This romantic bathroom with its lanterns that cast intriguing patterns around the bath creates an exotic ambience to be shared with someone special.

Amber Moon

Amber Moon, tucked away under the shade of the trees, has its own lush tropical garden and views of the neighboring forest and banana plantations. Spend wonderful lazy days on the secluded deck of your private pool enjoying the peaceful sounds of the forest and birds. The lounge with its large log fireplace, Moroccan carpets and old Indian doors creates a special ambience. Light the candles, burn the incense sticks and indulge in a bubble bath big enough for both of you.

Many Moons

Set against the rolling hills of the forest and farm, Many Moons is private, tranquil and enchanting. From this thatched lodge’s sunny balconies you overlook the most beautiful rim flowing pool. Filled with artifacts from travels into the Sahara, Many Moons has a Moroccan flavour that is unique and warm. An old wooden Indian window opens onto views of the forest that can be enjoyed while you bathe in a candlelit bubble bath.

'Over the Moon' Restaurant

This Bali-style restaurant built on stilts alongside a small pond is perfect for those memorable romantic candle-lit evenings alongside a log fire. By day, the bamboo blinds are rolled up, the sun streams in and breakfast is enjoyed overlooking the luscious tropical garden and distant hills. The two renowned top class South African chefs make sure that food at Timamoon is a gourmets delight and that every meal and every moment becomes a magical experience. End the evening with coffee and brandy in The Temple.
