Three Oaks and an Aloe Boutique Hotel is a luxury getaway located at the foot
of the majestic Magaliesberg Mountains. With tranquil scenery overlooking the
Hartbeespoort Dam, we offer a quiet retreat where you can vacation in
tranquility and style. We boast 13 individually decorated luxurious en-suite
rooms that have been designed with the holiday or corporate traveler in mind. We
also offer 4 Self-Catering suites in the picturesque Hartbeespoort countryside.
At Three Oaks and an Aloe, our facilities include an elegant dining area, boma
area for winter, a large swimming pool, on site spa room, flat screen LCD
televisions in all rooms, mini bars, tea & coffee stations, free internet access
and large tranquil gardens. Our Honeymoon Suites each have a Spa bath and
air-conditioning, private balconies with marvelous views of the Dam and its
surrounding mountains.
Oak Suites
The Oak suites are our luxury furnished rooms which have king sized beds or two
single beds, comfortable basket chairs, Flat screen LCD TV's, mini bars, tea &
coffee stations, large showers and a patio or balcony. These rooms are for the
traveler looking for the best locations at a reasonable price.
Aloe Suites
These suites, also known as our honeymoon suites, are large and elegantly
furnished with King sized beds, flat screens LCD TV's, air-conditioning, mini
bar, tea & coffee stations, private balcony and spa bath, overlooking the dam.
Enjoy a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine as a finishing touch while you
relax in luxury. With breathtaking views these rooms are a must have for any
romantic getaway.
Garden Villas
The Garden Villa is spacious and perfect for families. It consists of a main
bedroom with a king size bed with an air-conditioner, one en-suite bathroom with
a large shower, a sleeper couch or single bed in the lounge area for children,
as well as a private patio.
Activities
We have a host of adventure activities in the surrounding area including:
Paintball
Perfect for a bachelors, party or corporate teambuilding. The paintball course
is within walking distance from the hotel and has braai facilities. They can
cater for up to 40 people and prices include masks, overalls and paintballs.
Hot air ballooning
Professional pilots, attentive crew, immaculately maintained equipment, 5

in southern Africa the choice of the well informed discerning individual
traveller or corporate group.
River rafting
This 4 km route is yielding to the novice, yet accommodating to the thrill
seeker within all of us. You'll paddle the grade 1-2 rapids through this 40m
high gorge in about 2, 5 hours.
Horse riding
Rides going out every day on calm, well trained horses that will not run away
with you. Beginners, children, families and experienced riders all welcome.
Canopy tours
The Magaliesberg canopy tour consist of eleven platforms built high within the
rock faces of the kloof and joined by ten slides up to 140m long and 30m above
the stream below. Trained guides assure the safety of each group while
describing interesting facts about the ancient mountain, surrounding ecology,
bird and animal life.
Boat cruises
Boats are available for private charter for teambuilding or year-end functions
or simply for jet skiing, boating or tubing.
Abseiling
Abseiling's attraction lies not only with the rush of descending an otherwise
impassable cliff, but also in the opportunity to experience the view and
magnificence of the landscapes around you.
Archery
Archery and Air rifle target shoot are conducted within a safe shooting range
under supervision.
Microlight flights
Microlight flights available for couples or groups. See Hartbeespoort from a
different point of view and enjoy the true beauty Harties has to offer.
Quad biking
Trails run through the Phalandigwe Nature reserve, next to the scenic Crocodile
River, over the mountain. The tracks vary from technical to very easy, so we
have something to offer the expert as well as the beginner! Halfway we have a
quick stop for drinks and snacks before we get back to serious Quad Biking.
Wildlife sanctuaries
Includes sanctuaries like the Bushbaby Sanctuary, Cheetah Sanctuary, Lion
Sanctuary and Elephant Sanctuary.
Game reserves
You will travel through the bush in our open vehicles specially designed to
provide comfort and safety, you will get to experience Elephant, Lion, Cheetah,
Giraffe and 18 other species of plains game, for the bird lover we have over 340
birds species already spotted.
There is also a premier selection of golf courses in the surrounding area and a
broad range of cuisines. We also offer private transfers and tours.
