Thorntree offers luxurious fully furnished accommodation in a tranquil
country setting. Our full self-catering units provide private accommodation for
the single person / businessman / families up to six people.
We offer secure parking and there is plenty of space for trailer parking if
needed.
The garden suite consists of a large double bedroom with queen size bed, en
suite bath with shower. Sliding doors from the bedroom open onto your own
private walled garden. The large tiled open plan lounge, with three piece lounge
suite, dining area sitting four, and kitchen fully equipped with gas stove,
microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. A French door opens onto the covered
patio where one can sit, relax and watch the prolific bird life
The upstairs family suite consists of a spacious carpeted open plan lounge with
three piece lounge suite, dining area sitting six, and kitchenette, fully
equipped with fridge, microwave, electric frying pan, kettle and toaster. There
are two bedrooms off the lounge area, both en suite, making this a two bed
roomed family suite, catering easily for six people, all under thatch. From the
balcony one can sit, relax and watch the magic of a South African sunset.
The bungalow is a three bedroomed self contained unit, placed in its own grassed treed area. It consists of a large fully fitted kitchen with fridge, microwave, electric stove and dining area for six. The lounge has a three piece lounge suite and TV (only SABC channels). There are three separate bedrooms, one large room and the two slightly smaller rooms have an adjoining door. The main bedroom has a queen size bed and the other two bedrooms have two single beds in each.
There is a separate bathroom with full sized bath and shower. There is a large wooden deck off the kitchen overlooking the well treed private garden area, where you can sit and enjoy the prolific bird life. There is an outside braai area.
A large lapa is available which overlooks the koi pond where one can sit, unwind
and relax to birdsong.
Thorntree is situated in Chartwell, just off Cedar Road, 3 minutes away from
Broadacres shopping centre. Broadacres Shopping centre hosts a Barnyard theatre
and a variety of restaurants and fast food outlets. Fourways Mall, Cedar Square
and Montecasino facilities just 10 minutes away, offer full shopping, movies,
theatre and casino entertainment all available within a stones throw of
Thorntree.
