The Winston is a guesthouse based in the historic area of Simons Town. The guesthouse is nestled at the foot of the mountains and boasts sweeping views of the ocean and the False Bay Coastline. There are four suites in the actual house; each of which looks out over the ocean, the wooden deck and the pool. All suites are located downstairs and the breakfast room and lounge area are located upstairs, also with breathtaking views of the ocean. The suites follow a nautical theme and are equipped with DSTV, a desk, tea trays, hairdryers and a phone. Internet and e-mail is also on offer. If you are a family we suggest you book the Whale suite, the other rooms (penguin, dolphin and albatross) are ideal for couples. . Each morning this fine bed and breakfast establishment serves a full English or Continental breakfast (on request) accompanied by sea views and a friendly atmosphere. The Winston is located in a prime position for whale spotting and guests are often rewarded to sightings of whales whilst in the comfort of their own suite.

There are plenty of things to do in the area, a few of the favourites being shark cage diving and swimming with the penguins at Boulders Beach. The Winston guesthouse is also ideally located close to Cape Point Nature Reserve and it is roughly a 40 minute drive to Cape Town central and Table Mountain. There are numerous art galleries, restaurants, bars and shops in Simons Town and the trendy bohemian area of Kalk Bay is roughly a 10 minute drive. Kalk Bay is well known for its superb restaurants, laid back nightlife and beach atmosphere.
