The SeaHouse is a luxurious thatched roof holiday home situated in the
picturesque village of Jacobsbaai on the Cape West Coast. Jacobsbaai is
approximately one and a half hours drive from Cape Town and is near Vredenburg,
Saldanha. The Seahouse can accommodate one large group of up to
nine people or smaller groups.
Ground floor:
The ground floor accommodates four to five people. It consists of a living area,
a sheltered braai area, two double bedrooms with two bathrooms (one en suite)
and a porch overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The double garage has an entrance
directly into the house. The ground floor is wheel-chair friendly with ramps at
all the entrances and wide corridors and doors.
The living area has:
- comfortable leather and cane furniture
- a dining-room table (with seating for eight people)
- a fireplace
- a day bed (which can be used as an extra bed)
- a television set
- a decoder with SABC channels (please bring your own smart card for DStv)
- a DVD player
The kitchen is fully equipped with:
- an electric stove
- a microwave oven
- a dishwasher
- a fridge-freezer
- cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery
Bedroom 1 has a queen-size bed, comfortable chair, double doors that
open onto a porch overlooking the sea, bathroom (en suite) with toilet, bath,
shower and heated towel rails.
Bedroom 2 has two twin beds (or a king-size bed) and double doors opening
onto the patio. Bathroom 2 has a toilet and shower - although not en suite it is
next to Bedroom 2 and is wheel chair friendly.
Bed linen and towels are supplied. (Please bring own beach towels).
Suites:
The loft consists of two spacious suites each with a separate entrance, a
complete bathroom and a fully equipped kitchenette. The two suites are
interconnected and also have access to the ground floor.
The sunrise suite overlooks the village and has
- two twin beds (or a king-size bed)
- double doors opening onto a porch that overlooks the village
- a television set
- a decoder with SABC channels (please bring your own smart card for DSTV)
- kitchenette equipped with bar fridge, microwave oven, two-plate stove
with mini oven and a breakfast nook.
The bathroom has a toilet, bath, shower and heated towel rails.
The sunset suite opens onto a large deck that overlooks the ocean. It has
- a queen-size bed
- a television set
- a decoder with SABC channels (please bring your own smart card for DSTV)
- a kitchenette equipped with bar fridge, microwave oven, two-plate stove
with mini-oven, and a breakfast nook
The bathroom has a toilet, bath, shower and heated towel rails.
Bed linen and towels are supplied. (Please bring own beach towels).
Guests can choose to rent the whole house, only the ground floor, only one of
the suites or any combination of the above.
