Jacobsbaai is situated on the Cape West Coast of SA, often referred to as the "Namaqualand" of the West Coast, a mere 145km from Cape Town.

Jacobsbaai has a hidden gem named "Moerie-se-baai" - a tidal pool protected from the often stormy Atlantic Ocean. This is a place where you can swim in the Atlantic at high tide... the black rocks absorbing the sun's heat during the day and transferring it to the water at high tide. Here you find the Boat House.

The Boat House is a romantic spot for two. Open plan living in an apartment attached to the owner's holiday home.

It offers a double bed (linen and towels provided), en suite full bathroom, kitchenette (fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, confection microwave, two plate stove, equipped with everything except the food), dining area and sitting area with a red leather couch, TV, DVD player, decoder (bring your own DSTV card). Entrance private from a sundeck with patio furniture and outside braai facilities on the sun deck. Enjoy the sea view, sunbath, relax in complete privacy.

Stroll down to the beach, 50m from your doorstep, sit and wait for low tide to catch fresh fish, catch fresh crayfish in season. You will not go hungry.
