This 3 bedroom fairytale cottage is nestled on the plateau of Piketberg. Better
known as Piket Bo Berg, it is only 140km from Cape Town on the N7 towards
Namibia, and 26km outside of Piketberg. The road to the cottage is well tarred.
It is situated on a working farm that specializes in the exporting of a wide
variety of fruit, buchu, fynbos and Proteas.
The cottage sleeps a maximum of eight guests. The main bedroom is en-suite with
a walk-in closet and double bed. The other bedrooms consists of two single beds,
each with built in cupboards and a full bathroom. All bedding and towels are
provided. We are also Pet-Friendly for small animals. The cottage is fully
self-catering and set in a beautiful garden with a braai for those lovely warm
Boland evenings and an indoor braai and kaggel for the cold winter nights.
Cleaning services can be provided on request at an additional cost.
Guest are welcome to go hiking and do some cycling on- and offroad. For the kids
there is farm life, chickens and horses. For the less adventurous there is a
small nursery and tea garden only 1km from the cottage.
Piketberg, together with a host of restaurants and coffee shops, has some unique
shops with new ones popping up all the time. On the last Saturday of each month
there is a farmers market. Elandsbay, StHelenabay, Velldrift, Parternoster and
Langebaan is just around the corner if you want to make a daytrip to the sea.
Come get away from it all, and enjoy a lovely, relaxing weekend or
holiday-living life as it should be.
