Thaba Metsi is located on a small private game reserve 10 km outside Warmbaths) on the Eersbewoond road In Limpopo Province. Accommodation comprises only one fully equipped self-catering chalet, with two bedrooms, a kitchenette, lounge and bathroom with a huge verandah, braai facility and jaquzzi. The chalet overlooks a natural fountain which overflows during the rainy season to support an abundance of indigenous and exotic water birds. Antelope such as impala blue wildebeest, kudu, waterbuck, reed buck, duiker, steenbuck and even a Nyala baby can be seen as they come to drink their fill from the fountain.

Thaba Metsi offers you a setting which is ideal to be alone and really relax. For fun and entertainment, it is situated within 10 minutes from town and popular family resorts such as Forever Resorts with it's hot mineral baths and Hydro and ATKV Klein Kariba. On your request, a TV can be provided. However, we recommend that you rather sit outside and watch your free "wildlife channel", or smooth away your aches and pains whilst lazing in the jaquzzi on the verandah.

For the young ones, there is fishing and the delights of the adjacent "koppie" to climb. Kids can also bring their bikes and cycle around the farm. It must be noted though that animals have right of way.

It is quite safe to take a stroll through the farm, or even try your hand a catching a barbel or yellow fish from the fountain.

Otherwise just relax, enjoy the peace and quiet tranquillity of your surroundings. Night time is the best - just sit back around a hearty bonfire and enjoy the brightness of the African stars all above you. Cleaning services can be arranged at an additional fee of R70 per day.
