Tantivvey is a small farm situated in the midst of busy strawberry & dairy farms and although we are not currently producing cash crops, it is anticipated to be under strawberries in the future.
All rooms are en-suite and have private entrances and patio overlooking the gardens, fields and mountains. TV, M-Net, DStv channel, hospitality tray, heater, fan, extra duvets, hairdryer and clock radio are provided in each room.
There is safe open parking on the property.
The guest lounge / breakfast room with log fire has a small library of books & magazines, board games & CD's.
On the Outeniqua Country Hop Tourist Route we are far enough away from the hustle & bustle of tourists & holiday crowds and yet extremely central to shops, beaches and all the major tourist attractions. Guests love to use us as the ideal base from which to explore the Garden Route & Little Karoo, participate in the many and varied activities available & then to come home to their "home away from home" each evening.
For fishermen our picturesque dam is being stocked with bass and visits to well-known local fishing locations such as the
Groenvlei Lake, one of the best Bass fishing spots in the country, can be arranged.
Only 5 minutes away are the Links and the Bramble Hill golf courses at Fancourt Golf & Country Estate, 8 minutes from the magnificent
Knysna.
Nearby Botlierskop Game Farm offers day & night game drives and wonderful lunches & dinners in their exquisite African experience restaurant.
We are also very close to our mountain passes, beaches and the Railway Museum from whence the Outeniqua Choo-Choo departs to meander through indigenous forests, crossing coastal lakes to picturesque Knysna.
There is easy access to lovely walks through indigenous forests & fynbos, along farm roads, coastal paths, beaches and riverbanks.
There are 8 excellent restaurants within 2 minutes drive from us with many more in
George only 8 minutes away.
