We extend a very warm welcome to you at Swallows Nest Country Cottages,
situated in the heart of the Tsitsikamma in a picturesque and peaceful setting
with stunning mountain views.
Your hosts Ken and Corrie have been in the hospitality industry for many years
and are able to advise you on all local and nearby attractions as well as
looking after your comforts.
Accommodation
Centrally situated, we offer six comfortable and spacious two-bedroomed Cape
Dutch-styled chalets with warm face brick interiors and beamed open ceilings, to
enjoy your holiday in a scenic setting surrounded by forest and mountains and
the sea a short drive away.
All the chalets offer a lounge, dining-room, fully equipped kitchens, queen-size
beds and single beds with en-suite bathrooms with showers and/or baths,
accommodating from two up to seven persons per chalet and are fully equipped
with hobs, microwave ovens, fridge/freezers, colour TV's, fans and heaters in a
mock fireplace; linen and towels are supplied and each chalet has a lovely
private patio with a BBQ / braai facility overlooking an attractive garden and
an inviting swimming-pool.
Bed Configuration
Hyacinth & Bluebell Cottages:
These chalets are identical in layout and can accommodate up to 6/7 persons
per chalet.
Bedroom 1: 1 Queen-size bed and 1 single bed or bunk beds, with an en-suite
bathroom with a shower.
Bedroom 2: 3 Single beds with an en-suite bathroom with a bath (Mezzanine
Floor).
Oaktree & Bluebell Cottages:
These chalets are identical in layout and can accommodate up to 6 persons
per chalet.
Bedroom 1: 1 Queen-size bed with an en-suite bathroom with a shower and bath.
Bedroom 2: 1 Queen-size bed and bunk beds with an en-suite bathroom with a
shower.
Sweetpea & Snowdrop Cottages:
These chalets are identical in layout and can accommodate up to 3 persons per
chalet
Bedroom 1: 1 Queen-size bed with an en-suite bathroom with a shower and bath.
Bedroom 2: 1 Single bed with the same en-suite bathroom with a shower and bath.
A camp-cot or child's bed can be supplied on request.
Facilities
All chalets are attractively furnished and fully equipped with a hob,
microwave oven, fridge/freezer etc.
All chalets offer complimentary tea/coffee.
Limited toiletries are provided.
All chalets have a wall safe.
All chalets have ceiling fans.
All chalets have heaters.
All chalets have coloured TV's with SABC, ETV and decoders.
Wine, beer and cool-drinks are available on the premises

The Tsitsikamma
Ideal for nature lovers and bird watchers, the Tsitsikamma is a wonderland for
all and offers a variety of activities to keep guests entertained. Closely
situated to the Tsitsikamma National Park with its breathtaking scenery and
trails, enjoy a walk to the Suspension Bridge, the stone age cave or take a
short boat trip up the Storms River Gorge and along the scenic coast, or enjoy
peaceful walks in the unspoilt Tsitsikamma Forests. Also for the more
adventurous, there are unusual activities such as the Treetop Canopy Tours,
Black Water Tubing, Tsitsikamma Falls Zipline, the world's highest Bungy Jump
off the Bloukrans Bridge, or enjoy Eezi Bike mountain biking or forest horse
rides through the beautiful Tsitsikamma Forest, the attractions are many! Also,
within a short travelling distance, you will find Monkeyland, Birds of Eden and
the Craggs Elephant Sanctuary, the Mohair Factory which are all wonderful venues
to visit.
