We offer a wide variety of menu's and can produce the best reviews from our
previous bridal couples and included in our wedding package is a beautiful
bridal suite with a sea view. We also offer a full coordination service.
We at The Sunset Villas also offer a 3 star graded accommodation with 6 star
interior. We have 6 luxury Villas for holiday accommodation situated on the
beach in Laaiplek, Western Cape South Africa. This is Big Sky Country - with
phenomenal sunsets where you can enjoy quiet and peaceful days with all
amenities on your doorstep.
Each Villa comprises of a master bedroom, with a double bed and a stunning sea
view with a sliding door opening directly onto the balcony. The second bedroom
contains a set of bunker beds. Both rooms are en-suite. The lounge has an
additional double sleeper couch and has large sliding doors to enjoy the
stunning sea views and breathtaking sunsets. The balcony is equipped with
outdoor furniture and a "braai".
Available to all Villas is a communal swimming pool, jacuzzi and a gym.
The following is also included in the package: Daily cleaning service, Bedding,
Bath Towels, fully equipped kitchenette, DSTv, DVD player, Personal Safe, Hair
dryer, Steam Iron, Soap, Handlotion, Shampoo, Coffee and tea amenities.
The Villas are quite luxurious for the discerning client. Now you can experience
the simple and quaint West Coast environment and culture, from your own luxury
base.
The West Coast has many activities on offer for the visitor and the warm
hospitality of the locals makes everyone feel welcome. The West Coast is also
well known for it's beautiful flowers during springtime and the magnificent bird
species.
We cater for outdoor adventures such as a game drive with quad bikes, 4 X 4
trails, clay pigeon shooting, archery, fishing on the Bergriver, sunset cruises
on our boat, 4 X 4 game drives where you can also view rock art from the Khoi
inhabitants from many years ago, Kayaking on the Bergriver and many more.
Not too far away, lies the Rocher Pan Nature Reserve, which has a freshwater
lake and is home to many species of birds, animals and plants, an absolute
pleasure after the first heavy winter rains.
Regular boat trips are taken up the Bergriver to view birds, e.g. flamingoes and
pelicans. This is one of the best birding experiences on the West Coast. The
annual Berg River Canoe Marathon ends at Velddrif, and ocean going yachts have
found this a safe basin to moor in. The area also offers good fishing, for both
boat and rock or surf anglers.
